THE ORIGINAL RUBY THROAT
RUBY THROAT (‘the original’, because someone else stole the name, but that’s another story) is a
punk band with no guitars. Abusing instruments such as the cello and accordion they have
created a sound as angry as it is unique. Their first lead vocalist was the legendary Ian Dury and
they have been evolving ever since….delivering high octane performances on the underground
scene all around the UK and Europe. The perfect soundtrack to shoplifting…..
